Connecting Your Clover Device to the Internet.

This article will provide instructions on connecting your Clover device to the internet via Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet.

  1. Navigate to the Device Settings App.
  2. Select Network and Internet.
  3. For Wi-fi: toggle the switch on the right side of the wi-fi option to ON. Select your network and enter the password.
  4. For Ethernet: Simply connect the ethernet cable to the white dongle (box with ports) that is attached to the power cord for your device. Ethernet is only supported on Clover Compact, Mini, Station Solo, and Station Duo devices.

Please note: Your wi-fi network must be password protected. Connecting to a public wi-fi network will not allow you to process credit card transactions.
